… for when you want something sweet but not so bad for you… frozen bananas surprisingly taste a lot like icecream!
Serves 2 (if you can share, or 1 person if you really like ice cream)
2 ripe bananas (large)
100mL almond milk
1 tbsp raw cocoa powder
Peel, chop and freeze bananas for a few hours, or overnight.
Once frozen, blend with almond milk and raw cocoa powder. The banana makes it quite sweet already, but if you want it more sweet, you can add some honey, agave nectar or dates to the mix before you blend also.
Pour into jars and top with raw cocoa nibs.
