… oats are a great food and super healthy as they provide magnesium, fibre, potassium and contain no sugar… soaking oatmeal overnight improves its digestibility… one of my favourite breakfasts is overnight oats mixed with a tub of low-fat yogurt… the yogurt makes this breakfast super creamy and also provides lots of protein… makes for a delicious and healthy start to the day… not to mention, this is so easy to prepare as all the work happens overnight!
1/4 cup of oatmeal
1/4 cup of almond milk
150g low-fat Greek yogurt
(my favourite is Skyr by Siggi’s… their plain yogurt is quite tasty and contains 15g of protein)
Dark chocolate hemp seeds
Red rose petals (these are just for decoration, they look really pretty)
Combine oatmeal with almond milk and yogurt and soak for two hours, or overnight.
Add your favourite fruits and toppings in the morning and enjoy!
